Job Overview: The Talent & Business Acquisition Executive will play a dynamic role, combining sales and recruitment expertise to drive business growth and ensure successful talent placements. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for sales, a deep understanding of recruitment processes, and exceptional people skills. The ideal candidate will have the ability to search & find the right organization, build strong relationships, identify hiring needs within organizations, and effectively fulfill these needs through their recruitment acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify and reach out to organizations that are hiring, establishing connections with key decision-makers and HR professionals.
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand Octopus's client base, focusing on building long-term relationships with organizations.
    • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients, ensuring consistent business growth.
    • Present and promote Octopus’s recruitment and outsourcing services to prospective clients, tailoring the value proposition to meet their specific needs.
  • Talent Acquisition and Fulfillment:
    • Work closely with clients to understand their hiring needs and requirements, ensuring a perfect match between candidates and job roles.
    • Utilize your recruitment experience to source, screen, and select top talent for various technical positions.
    • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial client engagement to successful candidate placement.
    • Provide ongoing support to both clients and candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive experience for all parties involved.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Develop and nurture strong relationships with both clients and candidates, acting as a trusted advisor and consultant.
    • Leverage your emotional intelligence to understand client and candidate needs, and tailor your approach to meet these needs effectively.
    • Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide solutions that align with their business goals.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
    • Work closely with internal teams, including recruitment, HR, and sales, to ensure a seamless and efficient recruitment process.
    • Collaborate with team members to share insights, strategies, and best practices that contribute to overall business success.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, recruitment best practices, and market dynamics to continually refine your approach to talent acquisition and business development.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the recruitment and sales functions, contributing to the ongoing success of Octopus by RTG.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment and/or sales, with a proven track record of success in both areas.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices, with the ability to assess and match candidates to client needs effectively.
