Our Global & Regional Marketing team report into the eCommerce, Digital, Marketing, and Loyalty (EDML) department – a newly formed group under our Commercial and Revenue pillar. With new leadership overseeing EDML, their focus is to grow core revenue and brand experience.
This person will focus on marketing and campaigns, including global recruitment, corporate communications, employee engagement, community engagement, and government relations. The role purpose is to help portray and establish brand credibility for Etihad as a top company and employer in the region and globally. This person will work to align brand strategy for use in our non-consumer marketing channels.
Accountabilities
- Collaborate with key internal departments (such as recruitment, corporate communications, human resources, government relations) as well as key marketing teams (Digital, Social, Production, Brand), to ensure alignment and integration of cutting edge marketing strategies globally
- Implement market research initiatives on trends to develop effective marketing campaigns.
- Ensure the selection of the most effective and cost-efficient media to reach target customers with maximum impact and ROI.
- Identify areas of improvement and propose corrective actions in marketing plans across the region.
- Advise and support in the identification of the most effective channels to maximize marketing opportunities and commercial results.
- Review and report to top management on major risks and issues to ensure they are addressed effectively and on time.
- Report on initiatives to ensure proper monitoring of ROI.
- Design initiatives aimed at innovations identification and results improvements.
- Drive the development of online marketing strategies, to ensure alignment with Etihad’s marketing, sales, and communication objectives.
Education & Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in a related discipline.
- An industry leader with 6+ years commercial marketing experience in either the travel/airline/retail space for globally renowned brands
- Experienced marketer with clear commercial objectives and KPIs.
- Experience working with global agency partners as well as complex stakeholder groups.
