Working with cross-functional global and regional teams, you support portfolio strategy that aligns with the category vision to drive sustainable brand growth and to deliver business objectives. You support profit and loss management and future business development plans and objectives including new product development and platform opportunities.

How You Will Contribute

Working with other internal stakeholders, you will determine the priorities to enable consumer-centric brand portfolio growth. You will develop annual plans, setting objectives and allocating resources. In addition, you will offer recommendations for integrated commercial plans execute category marketing plans that deliver on revenue and profit forecasts, sharing objectives and monitoring performance, and delivering results over the AC and SP horizon. Based on your deep consumer insights and brand positioning, you will develop and implement integrated marketing communications and 360-degree campaigns.

More About This Role

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for the Chocolate category, aligned with Mondelēz’s global objectives and local market needs.
    • Lead the annual planning process, including setting goals, budget allocation, and performance metrics.
  • Brand Management:
    • Oversee brand positioning, ensuring consistency with the global brand strategy while adapting to local consumer preferences.
    • Manage the brand portfolio, driving innovation and new product development to meet consumer demand and market trends.
  • Market Analysis & Insights:
    • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive activities.
    • Translate insights into actionable strategies that enhance brand performance and market share.
  • Integrated Marketing Campaigns:
    • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, social media, TV, in-store, etc.).
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, finance, supply chain) to ensure alignment and successful implementation of marketing initiatives.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
    • Provide clear direction, set performance goals, and support the professional development of team members.
  • Budget Management:
    • Manage the marketing budget for the Chocolate category, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
    • Monitor and report on campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet financial targets.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Act as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including global teams, local partners, and agencies.
    • Ensure effective communication and collaboration to drive category success

What extra ingredients you will bring:

Education / Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.

Job specific requirements:

  • Minimum of 10-13 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the FMCG sector. Experience in the confectionery or food industry is highly desirable.
