Overview
As a key player in our dynamic team, you will be at the heart of coordinating innovation and new product development initiatives. Working closely with the Business Unit and cross-functional teams, you will develop and execute against the overall project timeline milestones. Your understanding of product lead times, production constraints, and required stock build will be crucial to your success.
As we gear up for our transition into PepsiCo Capability Center in 2024, we understand that there will be a level of initial ambiguity. This role will require a flexible approach as processes are primarily fixed, then shifted and improved over following strategy cycles. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a transformative phase in our organization.
Responsibilities
- As the lead point of contact for commercialisation and other cross-functional teams, you will be the driving force behind all innovations. You will lead the input for the respective Market Unit innovation pipeline, ensuring feasibility of execution is established as part of the approval process.
- Accountability is key in this role. You will ensure timely compliance, project and approval. You will build and maintain the innovation timeline with inputs from the broader project team, holding team members accountable for on-time delivery of their tasks to ensure key milestones are achieved.
- Follow up on innovations, transitions progress, dates, volumes and write-offs, leading the Monthly Project Alignment Meeting. You will work with the Master Data lead to ensure availability of master data for innovations, for raw, pack and finished goods codes.
- Plan the consumption and run down of inventory of raw, pack and finished goods code that will be de-listed. Collaborate with Portfolio, Innovations and category planners to minimize obsolescence and improve fulfilment service.
- Lastly, you will have the opportunity to analyse and enhance the innovation process to simplify and reduce the launch time. Work with the commercial team to evaluate the performance of the innovations launched.
Qualifications
- A university degree, preferably in the area of Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or Engineering.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Planning, Demand, Production Distribution and Material Planning processes.
- Effective time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a multi-task environment.
- Application of Supply chain principles with extensive knowledge in MRP, Production planning.
- Skills in query reporting tools, spreadsheet applications and presentations.
- Problem-solving know-how.
- Team-oriented and collaborative.
