A leading holding company in UAE is looking for a Head of Education.

Responsibilities


  • Curriculum development: The Head of Education is responsible for developing the curriculum to be followed in the workshops. They determine the educational content and skills to be learned and design a study plan that achieves the educational objectives.
  • Organizing Workshops: The Head of Education organizes the workshop schedule, selects appropriate topics, and sets the suitable dates. They collaborate with the hosting entities to arrange practical details such as the venue, preparations, and supplementary materials.
  • Lesson delivery: The Head of Education delivers lessons and provides necessary guidance to participants in the workshops conducted by the Arabic Poetry Foundation. They employ effective teaching methods to convey poetic concepts and develop participants’ poetry writing skills.
  • Progress assessment and monitoring: : The Head of Education monitors the progress of participants, evaluates their performance, and tracks their development in poetry writing. They provide individual feedback and guidance to participants to improve their skills and abilities.
  • Providing Resources: The Head of Education offers suitable knowledge and literary resources to participants. They provide references, books, and other supporting tools that can enhance participants’ understanding of poetry and improve their poetic skills.
  • Communication and cooperation: The Head of Education collaborates with the audience and the poetry community to promote the workshops and raise awareness of poetic arts. They build networks and collaborate with poets, teachers, and relevant institutions.
  • Organizing additional events: The Head of Education may organize additional events such as poetry evenings or poetry competitions to encourage participants and enhance the poetry community.
  • Development of educational materials: The Head of Education develops additional educational materials, such as worksheets, poetic examples, and creative exercises. This helps enhance participants’ interaction and practical learning in poetry.
  • Collaboration with professional poets: The Head of Education can collaborate with professional poets and invite them to conduct special workshops or deliver lectures as part of the educational program. This contributes to providing rich and unique experiences for participants.
  • Evaluation and improvement of the educational program: The Head of Education regularly evaluates the educational program and listens to feedback from participants. They use this feedback to improve and develop the program, ensuring it meets the needs of the target audience.


Requirements:

Education:


  • Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum Development, or a related field. A Doctorate in Education is preferred.


Experience:


  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in educational leadership, including significant experience in curriculum development and faculty management.
  • Proven track record of success in leading educational programs and improving student outcomes.


Skills:


  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate educators.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Expertise in curriculum development, instructional design, and educational assessment.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and its application in enhancing learning experiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
