Overview

  • This role covers all raw & packaging materials planning work procedures.
  • This role covers raw & packaging materials planning as well as call offs.
  • This entails daily, weekly, and monthly activities as well as all randomly required activities.
  • This role is used as a reference for all raw & packaging planning team in case of misalignment.
  • This role is used as the main driver for onboarding any newcomer to raw & packaging planning function.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on raw & packaging materials availability per plant
  • Extract stock report from SAP to check the material availability as per shared plan from production planning team
  • Distribute the materials along plants to achieve the production plan.
  • Follow up on open orders delivery with suppliers.
  • Contact suppliers to ensure they are committed to the shared delivery schedule .
  • Working with GP team to reallocate or cancel orders if there any delays to avoid business interruptions.
  • Contact plants to ensure all materials were received on SAP to target accurate stocks on SAP.
  • Manage the stock movements across plants based on the updated production plan per plant.
  • Distributing the materials between plants based on the stock availability & open orders.
  • Contact & follow up with plant, deployment team to ensure the materials delivery at the plants on time.
  • Sending credit or debit notes to IBM for settlement the supplier payments
  • Manage the storage capacity in our WHs and the replenishments to maintain the target safety stock levels.
  • Check the storage availability at 3PL through daily stock report from those WH .
  • Coordinate with deployment team the movement in & out of trucks to avoid any conflicts in shipping and storage for raw materials and finish goods.
  • Coordinate with the Production planning team to guarantee availability of the materials for 100% execution of the weekly production plan.
  • Support the recruitment and development of the materials planning team by ensuring full trainings and development plans are deployed for the whole team.
  • Build and maintain a sustainable relationship with our suppliers.
  • Build a strong relationship with internal key stakeholders to support the execution of the day-day operations. Monitor her/his team KPIs and ensure the targets are met.
