Job Overview:

LAWAZEM is seeking a motivated and experienced Marketplace Specialist to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring the accuracy and quality of our product offerings, supporting merchant onboarding, and driving marketplace improvements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing product information, ensuring its accuracy, assisting with merchant onboarding, enhancing the overall marketplace experience, driving sales, managing product updates, and supporting promotional activities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Product Review & Information Accuracy:
    • Conduct regular reviews of product listings to ensure all information is accurate, complete, and up to date.
    • Collaborate with merchants to rectify any discrepancies in product details and images.
    • Implement processes for ongoing product data quality assurance.
  • Merchant Onboarding:
    • Guide and assist new merchants through the onboarding process, ensuring they meet all marketplace requirements.
    • Provide training and support to merchants on how to use the platform effectively.
    • Ensure smooth integration of merchant products into the marketplace.
  • Marketplace Improvement:
    • Identify and recommend improvements to enhance the user experience for both customers and merchants.
    • Collaborate with the product development team to implement new features and functionalities.
    • Monitor marketplace performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Sales and Promotions:
    • Support marketplace sales efforts by optimizing product listings for visibility and conversion.
    • Assist in planning and executing promotional campaigns for merchants.
    • Track and analyze the performance of promotions, providing feedback for future campaigns.
  • Product Updates:
    • Manage the updating process for product listings, ensuring new products are added efficiently and existing listings are regularly refreshed.
    • Coordinate with the merchandising team to ensure the timely launch of new products and promotions.
  • Customer and Merchant Support:
    • Act as the first point of contact for merchants and customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
    • Collaborate with customer service teams to improve support processes and ensure a positive experience for all users.

  • Proven experience in eCommerce, marketplace management, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of online marketplace dynamics, including product listings, sales strategies, and customer engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using marketplace platforms, content management systems, and analytics tools.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with B2B eCommerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and SEO best practices.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and merchant onboarding tools
