Job Scope:
Carries day to day responsibilities for the operations and communications processes for 500 Global’s Education programs in the assigned geographic region. Supports all operational aspects of education programs, with primary focus on both planning and execution for in-person and online programs, as well as communications and sales. This role is also responsible for relationship management as the face of 500 Global and the Education Team to program applicants, participants, and other key stakeholders.
Essential Functions
- Build and manage relationships with potential applicants interested in our programs, providing unparalleled customer service and converting them into participants.
- Recruit, vet, and process all applicants for our programs through application reviews, interviews, reference checks, and more.
- Provide logistical support for all online and in person Education programs from planning, budgeting, to execution.
- Track and report daily and weekly on the status of upcoming programs.
- Create, implement, and analyze the results of pre- and post-program surveys.
- Engage and follow up with program alumni and nurturing the alumni community through messaging, events, and resource sharing.
- Assist in proposal development for new projects.
- Perform additional tasks and program administration as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: 4 or more years or experience organizing and executing high quality events, e.g. international conferences, startup bootcamps, etc.
- Fluent in English (native or near native proficiency).
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating and managing communities, e.g. working for a university alumni program, organizing tech meetups, etc.
- Experience in sales or business development. Experience working with high-profile people and organizations.
- Experience working with international organizations or projects.
- Understanding or experience in venture capital & startup growth. Research, analytical thinking, and data analysis.
- Experience with software tools and automations and/or ability to learn quickly.
Physical Requirements
- Based in Egypt
- Required global travel up to 25% of the time.
