As a Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the product strategy, development, and launch of new products and services. It involves building and implementing the company’s service portfolio to meet customer demands, driving business growth, and ensuring a competitive advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Make sure that products and services are aligned with the company’s overall strategic objectives and vision.
  • Manage and maintain the company's product and services portfolio, identifying growth opportunities to foster business growth and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for cloud-based products, from concept ideation to successful launch.
  • Drive the architectural design of products, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance in cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the successful development, launch, and continuous improvement of new products and services.
  • Set clear product goals, identify and prioritize product features and enhancements based on user feedback and market demands.
  • Create a go-to-market strategy to successfully launch new products and lead the successful execution of this plan across functional teams, sales, and partners.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to guide the product roadmap and innovation.
  • Act as the product and business subject matter expert for cloud products and services, providing support to sales, customer success, and other internal teams.
  • Define pricing and packaging strategies for products during the development and launch periods, ensuring they are competitive and profitable.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to enhance existing pricing strategies throughout the product lifecycle, aligning prices with the latest market trends and customer needs.
  • Work with the leadership team to strategically drive revenue growth for products and services.
  • Work closely with the sales and pre-sales teams to conduct win-loss analysis, enhance service offerings to remain competitive, and drive the adoption of newly launched services by the company.
  • Keep updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments.
  • Analyze financial metrics related to products and services, such as revenue growth, profit margins, and customer acquisition costs.
  • Assess the financial viability and sustainability of current offerings.
  • Conduct regular assessments of competitors' offerings to benchmark against the company’s current products and services.
  • Ensure that products and services comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Measure adherence to compliance requirements and identify any areas of non-compliance.
  • Measure alignment with strategic priorities and assess whether current offerings contribute to the company's long-term success.
  • Develop contingency plans and act swiftly and decisively when problems arise within the team
  • Lead the team members through changes, helping them manage resistance and maintain high morale.

Requirements

  • Product Development & Management, Partner Management
  • Expertise in using AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Professional experience working in a Cloud MSP environment
  • Knowledge in Managed and Professional services, Digital Transformation, and Cloud Migrations
  • Experience in building and managing a Services Portfolio
  • Proficiency in Vendor Management, sales processes, Pricing and Contract management, Legal, CRM, and partner portals
  • A deep understanding of financial principles, with the ability to prepare and present commercial business cases to the stakeholders.
