As a Revenue Management Cargo officer, you will be responsible to maximize revenue and capacity of Etihad Freighter’s & Passenger’s Aircraft through analysis and decision making whilst considering operational constraints.


Accountabilities


Capacity Evaluation:

  • Evaluate and decide on capacity requests received from EY Network beyond AUH respecting the SLA.
  • Handle truck requests and truck schedules adjustments.
  • Handle special cargo requests.
  • Evaluate and make recommendations to the Network Planning team on the feasibility of adhoc freighters and passenger capacity changes.
  • Coordinate with Operations Control on short term aircraft changes.


Flight Capacity Optimization:

  • Control daily flight capacity and adjust capacity forecast when required.
  • Set the right level of overbooking and follow up on overbooking levels through the live flight window.
  • Plan and prioritize shipments considering nature of goods, shipment contribution and On Board Priority List (OBPL).
  • Handle operational disruptions by evaluating recovery options and ensuring proper rebooking.
  • Optimize the gateway usage.
  • Liaise with Internal Stakeholders (Operations, CS, Sales …)


Flight Steering Optimization:

  • Set up a steering strategy on given portfolio of routes by analysing demand trends.
  • Determine the allocation strategy and participate seasonal allocation reviews.
  • Ensure allocations are performing and take necessary actions - when required - through regular performance reviews.
  • Prepare weekly route performance reviews.
  • Liaise with Pricing Department on route strategies.


Education & Experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum Three years of airline cargo experience or related experience.
  • Strong Analytical skills and decision making skills.
  • Sound knowledge in logistics and supply chain management, customer service, Cargo Revenue Management Systems, Cargo Reservation Systems, Advanced Cargo Skills and Procedures.
