What you will be doing:

  • Account Management: Manage a portfolio of existing key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Client Training: Provide client training to ensure efficient use of Jumia's advertising services.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular account performance reviews, offering market insights and performance reports to maximize client retention.
  • Business Consultation: Act as a business consultant to key accounts, identifying problems, opportunities, and areas for growth.
  • Ad Monitoring: Monitor the performance of clients' ads and package usage, providing regular feedback and optimization suggestions.
  • Sales Quality: By matching company size with the appropriate advertising package, ensure sales quality.
  • Account Upgrades: Work on upgrading accounts based on available inventory and marketing budgets.
  • Client Onboarding: Assist in onboarding clients to new tools and systems.
  • Issue Resolution: Assist in handling client issues, working closely with Operations and Customer Support teams to provide a seamless experience.
  • Data Visualization: Collaborate with the BI team to create new dashboards tailored to client needs.
  • Reporting: Create daily, weekly, and monthly trackers to report on team activities, including portfolio total value and upgrade proposal status.
  • Training and Onboarding: Assist in training and onboarding new account managers, providing guidance on efficient portfolio management.
  • Collections and Renewals: Ensure timely monthly collections and successful payment processing. Work with clients to renew their contracts on schedule.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-3 years of experience in B2B sales and account management.
  • Experience in e-commerce, internet industry, or a related field is required.
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
  • Extensive experience with MS Office (PowerPoint & Excel).
  • Ability to visualize data effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills
