Job Purpose

The purpose of the Senior Technician MEP role is to assist the Senior Site Manager in physical rectification, emergency response, MEP defect resolution, and planned preventative maintenance. The candidate will troubleshoot and repair MEP systems and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation. The role demands attention to detail, independent and teamwork capabilities, and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Operational Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Site Manager in performing physical rectification works using in-house tools to resolve in-house DLP issues.
• Transport tools and skilled labor to emergency sites to ensure quick response times.
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance for the AMC department, providing the Senior Site Manager with necessary information for reports.
• Monitor and maintain the work van inventory of parts and equipment, ensuring adequate stock for rectification tasks.
• Communicate defect details, causes, rectification solutions, and prevention measures to the Senior Site Manager for documentation.
• Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and contractors to address complex or interconnected issues.
• Review rectification works to ensure compliance with building, local regulations, and safety codes.
• Procure locally sourced spare parts as needed to expedite rectification processes.
  
  

Person Specification: Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of MEP maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair MEP systems and equipment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of PPM and AMC.
• Familiarity with MEP systems, equipment, and tools.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Valid driver's license.
