As a Consultant or Specialist in Geriatric Medicine at SearchPlus HR, you will play a vital role in providing expert medical care to elderly patients. You will diagnose and treat age-related health issues, develop personalized treatment plans, and ensure the overall well-being of our geriatric population.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough geriatric assessments, including evaluating cognitive, physical, and functional abilities
- Diagnose and treat geriatric-specific conditions, such as dementia, osteoporosis, and cardiovascular diseases
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs
- Prescribe medications, manage treatments, and advise on lifestyle modifications
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care to geriatric patients
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on geriatric health issues and preventive measures
- Keep abreast of the latest research and advancements in geriatric medicine

- Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Consultant or Specialist in Geriatric Medicine
- Completion of a recognized residency program in Geriatric Medicine
- Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and treating geriatric-specific diseases and conditions
- In-depth knowledge of geriatric medicine principles, guidelines, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with elderly patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills specific to geriatric medicine
