Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside product teams to understand feature requirements or understand common bugs and translate them into to functioning, scalable code.
- Develop and Maintain Backend Systems: Spearhead the development of robust, scalable back-end applications using Ruby on Rails. Ensure continuous improvement and optimisation by writing and maintaining reliable and scalable code, as well as participating in code reviews.
- Microservices Architecture: Comfortable working with microservices and development of associated APIs.
- React.js Integration: Collaborate with front-end teams using React.js to ensure seamless integration and a cohesive user experience.

متطلبات الوظيفة
Experience:
- Typically 2+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development
- Clearly able to identify and follow predefined patterns or approaches in an existing code base.
- Most comfortable working on clearly defined, well scoped features or problems.
- Is able to decide the priority level of a bug and set of the appropriate course of action.
- Is able to understand user stories and translate them into technical requirements.
- Strong understanding of versioning tools including GitHub.
- Good knowledge of functional design patterns and SOA.
- Exceptional analytical and out-of-the-box problem-solving abilities.
Desirable Skills
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, for effective communication with international teams.
- Experience in fintech or similar fast-paced, tech-driven environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices.
- Passion for financial inclusion and social impact.
