Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Reports to: CEO

Job Overview:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of the company. As a key member of the executive team, the CFO will oversee all financial operations, ensuring the company's financial health and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will provide strategic financial leadership, manage the finance team, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to drive the company's financial performance and long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the companys overall business objectives.
    • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive management team.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Lead the budgeting process, including preparing financial forecasts and projections.
    • Ensure that financial plans support the company's goals and objectives.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Present financial performance to the board of directors and other key stakeholders.
  • Cash Flow Management:
    • Monitor, manage, and project the companys cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity to meet obligations.
    • Implement strategies to optimize cash flow and reduce financial risks.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify and manage financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
    • Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
  • Capital Management:
    • Oversee the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing.
    • Manage relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
  • Cost Management:
    • Implement cost control measures to optimize company spending and improve profitability.
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Compliance and Governance:
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
    • Work closely with the legal and compliance teams to maintain proper controls and procedures.
  • Investment Oversight:
    • Evaluate investment opportunities and make recommendations on capital allocation to maximize returns.
    • Oversee mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures as required.
  • Financial Leadership:
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of financial discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Mentor and develop finance team members, ensuring professional growth and effective succession planning.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Communicate financial performance, strategies, and risks to key stakeholders, including the board of directors, investors, and employees.
    • Represent the company in external financial discussions and negotiations.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    • Track and analyze financial performance against strategic goals.
    • Adjust financial strategies and plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the F&B Industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance.
  • Proven experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
  • Experience in managing relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
