Specializing in transmission, renewable energy, and water treatment, they operate in the UAE, Qatar, Libya, and across Africa, they're in search of an HR Business Partner to join their team.

Job Title: FP&A Manager

Scope: As an FP&A Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between financial data and strategic decision-making. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior management by providing actionable financial insights and recommendations that drive business growth. Your role involves understanding and anticipating the financial needs of the organization, ensuring accurate forecasts, and aligning financial planning with business objectives. Through your leadership and expertise, you will help enhance the company's financial performance and support the organization in achieving its long-term strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

Financial Modeling & Strategic Planning:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support long-term strategic planning and business decision-making.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis to guide investment decisions, cost optimization, and revenue forecasting.

Performance Monitoring & Analysis:

  • Monitor and assess the company's financial performance against key metrics and targets.
  • Identify trends, variances, and potential risks, providing actionable recommendations for performance improvement.
  • Conduct in-depth variance analysis to explain budget vs. actual results.

Reporting & Presentation:

  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise financial reports and presentations to senior management, board members, and key stakeholders.
  • Translate complex financial data into insights and recommendations that inform strategic business decisions.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Prepare rolling forecasts and update financial projections in response to changing market conditions and internal priorities.

Process Improvement & Efficiency:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial planning and analysis activities.
  • Implement solutions that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis.

Market & Industry Insights:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and emerging opportunities to inform financial planning and decision-making.
  • Apply external insights to improve the company's financial strategies and competitive position.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of financial analysts, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Provide guidance, support, and development opportunities to build a strong, capable team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a managerial role.
  • CPA, CFA, or certification is a must.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable business insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques.
  • Experience working with financial planning software and ERP systems.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams.
