Position Title: Electrical Power Supply Design Engineer

Job Summary: The Electrical Power Supply Design Engineer at Colas Rail will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and overseeing the electrical power systems for metro construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient, safe, and sustainable generation, distribution, and utilization of electrical power throughout the metro systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Responsibilities:
• Develop and design innovative electrical systems, circuits, and power control equipment for metro construction projects.
• Analyze and evaluate existing electrical systems to enhance efficiency and recommend necessary improvements.
• Collaboration and Supervision:
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, civil engineers, and energy consultants on project designs.
• Supervise the installation of electrical equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
• Quality Assurance and Maintenance:
• Conduct quality assurance tests to validate the functionality of electrical systems and components.
• Design proactive maintenance schedules to prevent system failures and ensure the continuous operation of electrical systems.
• Documentation and Compliance:
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications for system installations and maintenance.
• Ensure strict adherence to national and local safety codes and regulations in all electrical designs and implementations.
• Innovation and Professional Development:
• Stay abreast of the latest technologies and regulations in the electrical engineering field.
• Implement innovative solutions in electrical designs to enhance efficiency and sustainability in metro construction projects.
  

Qualifications And Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field focusing on power systems. A Master’s degree may be advantageous.
• Strong experience (3-5 years) in power generation, distribution, or transmission sectors.
• Proficiency in electrical system design tools like ETAP, MATLAB, or similar software.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
