Octopus by RTG is hiring for a reputable insurance company with headquarters in Riyadh a skilled Change Manager to join the team.

Position Summary: The Change Manager oversees and manages the change management process, ensuring that changes to IT systems, processes, and business operations are executed smoothly and with minimal disruption. This role involves leading change initiatives, minimizing impact on service quality, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Change Request Management:
  • Review, assess, and prioritize change requests to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to engage stakeholders in change review and approval.
  • Document all change requests, including risk assessments, impact analyses, and implementation plans.
  • Change Implementation and Coordination:
    • Coordinate the implementation of changes with IT teams, business units, and external vendors to ensure adherence to plans.
    • Monitor change progress to ensure timely and within-scope execution.
    • Manage communications regarding changes, keeping stakeholders informed about status, impact, and outcomes.
  • Risk and Impact Assessment:
    • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential impacts on IT services, business operations, and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with teams to develop risk mitigation plans and establish contingency measures.
  • Post-Change Review and Continuous Improvement:
    • Lead post-implementation reviews for significant changes, analyzing outcomes and identifying improvement opportunities.
    • Maintain a change log to track change success rates, encountered issues, and lessons learned.
    • Continuously enhance the Change Management process based on stakeholder feedback and past experiences.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Engage with IT, business units, and senior management to align changes with organizational goals.
    • Serve as a liaison between IT and the business to address stakeholder needs and concerns.
  • Compliance and Governance:
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and organizational standards for all changes.
    • Maintain accurate and complete audit trails for all changes.

    • Education:
      • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees or specialized certifications are a plus.
    • Experience:
      • 5-7 years of experience in Change Management, IT Service Management, or related fields.
      • Proven experience in managing change within complex, multi-vendor environments.
    • Certifications:
      • ITIL Foundation Certification required; ITIL Intermediate or Expert Level Certification preferred.
    • Technical Skills:
      • Strong understanding of ITIL processes, especially Change Management.
      • Familiarity with Change Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy) and ITSM platforms.
      • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, applications, and service delivery models.
    • Soft Skills:
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
      • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the capability to handle multiple changes simultaneously.
      • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and make informed decisions.
    • Other Requirements:
      • Ability to work in high-pressure situations and manage changes in a fast-paced environment.
      • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by change schedules.

    Working Conditions:

    • Occasional work outside regular business hours may be required, particularly during critical changes.
