Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Oral Dental Surgeon to join our growing team of medical professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oral surgery and possess excellent technical skills, as well as outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. The Oral Dental Surgeon will diagnose and treat various oral pathologies, perform complicated dental extractions, and oversee the preparation of the mouth for dental prostheses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough oral examinations and implement treatment plans for patients with various oral pathologies.
• Perform dental extractions, including complicated and impacted teeth, under local or general anesthesia.
• Administer local anesthesia and monitor patients' vital signs during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with other dental specialists to provide comprehensive treatment for patients.
• Oversee the preparation of the mouth for dental prostheses, such as dentures, implants, and bridges.
• Utilize advanced surgical techniques, such as flapless and guided implant placement.
• Keep accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and consent forms.
• Educate patients on good oral hygiene practices and follow-up care after surgical procedures.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in oral surgery techniques and procedures.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines for infection control and patient safety.
  
  

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
• Active state dental license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Proven experience as an Oral Dental Surgeon.
• Advanced knowledge of oral and maxillofacial anatomy, pathology, and physiology.
• Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in advanced surgical techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
