Neonatologist

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Neonatologist to join our team. As a Neonatologist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of newborn babies and their families. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual who is committed to providing the highest quality care to our littlest patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat medical conditions in newborns in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
• Monitor the progress and development of premature or ill infants, and provide support to their families.
• Administer specialized care, such as respiratory or heart support, to infants in critical condition.
• Work with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, pediatricians, and other specialists to provide a comprehensive treatment plan for each patient.
• Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies to assess the health of newborns.
• Provide counseling to parents and families, and explain medical procedures and conditions in a compassionate and understandable manner.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement guidelines and protocols to ensure the best possible outcomes for newborns.
• Participate in research and stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in Neonatology to provide the most effective and innovative care.
  
  

Requirements

• Medical degree and completion of residency program in Pediatrics.
• Board certification in Neonatology.
• Current state medical license.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick and critical decisions.
• Experience in a Level III or IV NICU preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent patient care.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Passion for working with newborns and their families.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and be available on-call.
