About The Role
Director Internal Communications role will be pivotal in driving consistent and engaging communications across our organization, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose among our diverse teams worldwide.
You will develop, design and execute the internal communication strategy for Kerzner International, and support the internal communications agenda across all properties within the portfolio. This wide-ranging and dynamic role encompasses the timely coordination of employee communications through a variety of channels to ensure transparency, consistency and ease of access to information across all brands, properties and Kerzner entities. The candidate will help drive optimal employee engagement, company culture, and broader business outcomes in alignment with the company strategy and will be responsible for identifying creative approaches to building and strengthening the employer and employee brand.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and values.
- Draft, review, and distribute internal announcements to ensure timely and clear communication across the company
- Serve as the primary liaison between senior leadership and employees, ensuring alignment of messaging and clarity of communication.
- Parter with Global Communications team on strategies and ensuring alignment
- Create a variety of HR communication materials, including posters, templates, articles, intranet content, digital screen content, forms, and back of house materials
- Manage the company’s intranet, and support Kerzner properties with their own content and the functionality of the platform
- Design, develop and execute company news content (including CEO communications), such as newsletters, campaigns and video content
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications efforts, utilizing feedback and analytics to continuously improve strategies and tactics.
- Collaborate with HR to design and implement programs that enhance employee wellbeing, performance, and engagement to ensure alignment with the overall company strategy
- Plan, coordinate, and execute Global Office Town Halls, webinars and other office events
- Develop and produce internal presentations, including PowerPoint decks and videos, to support various company initiatives and communications
- Work closely with multiple stakeholders including the CEO, senior leadership, Marketing and PR to ensure the successful implementation and execution of internal and external communication initiatives
- Develop and promote the company's EVP and employer branding initiatives to attract and retain top talent. This includes crafting compelling content for LinkedIn and other platforms to showcase the company's culture, values, and career opportunities.
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
- Must: Content Management System, Adobe InDesign, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Microsoft Office
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful internal communications strategies in a global organization
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into impactful communication initiatives
- Desirable: Photography, Videography and video editing
- English fluency – written and spoken. Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills with a keen eye for detail and quality.
