Responsible for providing the highest-level quality of psychological services to patients and their families under the supervision of senior Department of Psychiatry/Psychology staff.
Assists the Senior Psychologists in all aspects of the clinical psychology services in order to gain the experience required to perform his/her duties.
Functions as part of the interdisciplinary team within the Department of Psychiatry/Psychology and the multidisciplinary Rehabilitation Team responsible for inpatient care of patients.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from an accredited university program
Pre- graduate training in clinical psychology in hospital setting for at least 1 academic semester.
Experience
Minimum of 1 year post graduate experience in a hospital setting.
Skills and knowledge
Basic knowledge of clinical psychology theory, and experience in administration of psychological and neuropsychological tests, clinical interviewing, and diagnostic evaluation.
Motivated to learn and further develop theoretical knowledge and clinical skills in clinical psychology.
Knowledge of English language (writing/ speaking) is essential.
Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.

Expected to enroll in a postgraduate Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology or
Rehabilitation Psychology in a recognized university program approved by the hospital within 4 years of his/her employment at the hospital and must complete this degree within the required years as specified.
