Job Description

Key Responsibilities of the role Corresponding Key Activities performed by the role

Develop and Deploy Data Quality Operations

Facilitate data quality assessment initiative

Facilitate data quality improvement projects and iniatiatives

Manage data quality rules and standards

Monitor data’s ongoing conformance with rules, identify and manage data quality issues, and report on quality levels

Document in coordination with Data Owners and Stewards data standards and business rules

Develop and maintain data quality scorecards, trends, conformance to Data Quality Framework, outcome of data quality improvement projects

Managing Data Quality Rules

Work closely with Subject Matter Experts, Data Owners, and Data Stewards

Work closely with Application Analysts and Qlik Developers

Identify business rules that describe or imply expectations about the quality

characteristics of the data

Set clear expectations for data quality characteristics

Provide requirements for system edits and controls that prevent data issues from being introducted

Create the foundation for ongoing data quality measurement and reporting

Establish standards, templates, and platforms for documenting rules so that they have a consistent format and meeting

Test data quality rules and standards against actual data to identify issues with the data.
