As a Purchasing Specialist at Chefaa, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, negotiating, and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify purchase requirements, conduct market research, and maintain accurate records of purchase transactions. Responsibilities
- Source and procure required products from warehouses based on organizational needs.
- Ensure timely delivery of purchased items from the warehouses.
- Maintain effective communication with warehouse staff to coordinate and track orders.
- Conduct market research and perform price comparisons to identify cost-effective purchasing options.
- Maintain a database of pricing information and vendor catalogs for reference.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and confirm purchase requirements.
- Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers based on quality, reliability, and pricing.
- Monitor vendor performance, including delivery reliability and product quality, and address any issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchase transactions, POs, and other relevant documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, metrics, and analysis related to purchasing activities.
- Collaborate with various departments such as finance, and business, to ensure alignment in procurement activities.
