Purple Rock IT Solutions,, a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP), is seeking an experienced IT Service Engineer Team Lead to join our growing team. The IT Service Engineer Team Lead will be responsible for managing a team of IT Service Engineers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of technical excellence, leadership, and customer service, and will be passionate about delivering innovative solutions to complex IT challenges.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of IT Service Engineers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a primary point of contact for all IT-related issues and concerns
  • Plan, design, and implement network and infrastructure solutions, ensuring that they are aligned with client needs and requirements
  • Provide system administration support for servers, storage, and virtualization, ensuring that they are maintained to the highest standards
  • Configure, deploy, and manage cloud services such as Microsoft Office 365, Azure, and AWS, ensuring that they are secure and compliant
  • Monitor and maintain system security and compliance, ensuring that clients' data is protected at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and to provide guidance and support on complex projects
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring that we are meeting their needs and that they are satisfied with our services
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and project status, and ensure that all team members are kept up-to-date
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and provide guidance and advice to clients on how to leverage them
  • Cross collaboration with the sales team to develop solutions that best fit the needs of our client base.
  • Assist with project planning and resource estimation for new projects
  • Oversee the day-to-day operational, product/solution, and service delivery functions across all lines of business.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in IT service delivery, including managing IT services for clients
  • Knowledge of network design and implementation, system administration, cloud services, and security management
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders. Displaying strong inter-personal and communication skills for client satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Demonstrate high emotional intelligence (EQ) while interacting with customers and peers
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility
  • Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to deliver them on time and within budget
  • Industry certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CCNA, MCSE, or AWS are mandatory
  • Ability to travel among GCC countries to oversee project deliverables
