Medical Affairs Lead - Diabetes

A leading multinational pharmaceutical company is looking for a Medical Lead for Diabetes therapy area. This role involves supporting scientific data needs, contributing to clinical research, providing regulatory and strategic expertise, and cross-functionally working with commercial team.





Key Responsibilities:





1.Business/Customer Support:




  • Understand and address the scientific information needs of local/regional stakeholders including payers, patients, and healthcare providers.

  • Lead data analysis and clinical research outcomes to support products' commercialization.

  • Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders: global Medical Affairs, sales, marketing and regulatory to develop and execute local business plans.







2.Scientific Data Exchange:




  • Support the preparation and review of medical letters and materials.

  • Build and maintain relationships with scientific experts, thought leaders, and the medical community.

  • Review and approve informed consent documents and risk profiles.

  • Collaborate with clinical research teams on trial design, execution, and reporting.

  • Provide medical expertise to regulatory scientists and participate in advisory committees.





3.Scientific Technical Expertise:




  • Stay updated with trends and projections in Diabetes therapy area.

  • Evaluate medical literature and competitive product data.

  • Act as a scientific consultant and protocol expert for clinical studies and other medical inquiries.





Key Requirements:




  • Medical Doctor (MD) who's board eligible or certified.

  • MD with finalized post-medical training is a must.

  • Regional exposure is preferred.

  • Experience within multinational pharma company is a must.

  • 3-5 years of experience working on Diabetes therapy area is a must.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple internal stakeholders.

  • Preferred knowledge of drug development processes.
