Our Client, a Well Established International Bank, With a Presence Across The MENA Region, Is Looking To Hire An MIS Officer, To Join The Team In Dubai. Your Missions

  • Oversee the creation of and extraction of dashboard and reports to provide data analysis and support by designing and automating dashboards to evaluate opportunities and assess results.
  • Assist in conducting assessment for new products in terms of profitability and cost/Income analysis.
  • Support stakeholders in their ad-hoc data mining and financial analysis requests, resolving financial matters raised, as well as in providing commercial insights and analysis of results, identifying underlying trends and challenging the business on performance.
  • Contribute to process improvement / automation projects.
  • Support the strategic planning of the bank through building up business models to support strategic initiatives.
  • Define KPIs, analyze the available data, evaluate the portfolio, and present methods and solutions to obtain a balanced portfolio of corporate clients; automate dashboard and daily update tracking of progress and measure performance of transformation against KPIs to create transparency.
  • Communicate with various departments of the bank using the raw data from perspective departments (MIS, Data Strategy, and others) to proceed with customized analysis/report/dashboard according to the dynamic needs.
  • Establish the necessary standards and metrics to create reports provided to corporate clients that describe performance and profitability of products, following up on their creation and ensuring the validity of the extracted data together with the IT and the financial sector.
  • Develop a database of corporate clients to enable the extraction of data that contributes to maximizing the market share and profitability of that segment; also develop a vision regarding the annual targets for business sectors at a product/region level in accordance with the sector strategy.

Your Background

  • You hold a Bachelor Degree in Business, Economics, Commerce or Accounting.
  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience in Banking, preferably in Global Transaction Banking, including experience using statistical packages (i.e., Excel, Alteryx) and reporting packages (i.E., Business Objects), databases (i.E., SQL), data models, as well as a strong Requirements Gathering and Analysis expertise through usage of techniques (i.e., process modelling, use cases). A knowledge of Thinkcell would be a plus

  • You have a proven track record of writing and analytical business requirements, as well as good communication and documentation skills in English.
  • You possess a strong knowledge of statistics, advanced proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools.
  • You have strong analytical, problem - solving and critical - thinking skills.
  • You have a solution-oriented approach and flexibility, and are able to work independently and collaboratively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
