Overview

We are looking for a talented, motivated and creative Logistics Specialist to join our Operations team. As a member, you will work closely on the operations side specially coordination and documentation, Order processing, Import & Export and across key Middle East, Turkey and Africa markets and channels and will work closely with the Operations Manager. The Logistic Specialist - META is responsible for serving our customers with the right delivery service. This function oversees sales order management and outbound transportation. The Logistic Specialist - META effectively liaises between sales, the fulfillment partner(s) and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Daily management of the META fulfillment operations.
    • Act as point of contact for the logistics service provider
    • Issue and manage value added service activities
    • Ensure aligned inventory balance between Bissell and its partners
  • Work with Customer, forwarder and 3PL warehouse for orders and shipment.
  • Problem analysis: Identify issues, recognize important and relevant information. Being able to connect the dots and identify root causes. Reviews problems by asking directed questions and using various relevant information sources. Distinguishes facts from opinions and assumptions.
  • Customer Orientation: The ability and willingness to find out what the customer wants and needs and to act accordingly, taking the organization’s costs and benefits into account. The Logistic Specialist is aware of the consumers, interests and needs and anticipates them.
  • Coordinate with various departments, such as 3PL and shipping, to fulfill orders on time.
  • Knowledge in Jebel Ali Export Operation and Documentation.
  • Monitor and execute in- and outbound order management activities
  • Work on a day-to-day basis with the logistics service provider to drive execution of in- and outbound logistics.
  • Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports on order status and logistics performance.
    • Prepare and develop periodic reporting set on order status and customer service
    • Perform ad-hoc data analysis
    • Reporting to Operation Manger on all operational activities.
    • Reconciling DOMO Report for forecast and Open Orders.
    • Order process in IOMS and Oracle.
  • Processing COC applications as per distributor requirements
  • Documentations for all export shipments.
  • The Logistics Specialist works in close cooperation with sales and the logistics service providers on a day-to-day basis and reports on BISSELL International operations.
Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE

  • 2- 3 Years plus hands-on experience in international supply chain operations (FMCG – Electronics)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge in Export Operation and Documentation.
  • Experience ERP-systems for order management and logistics
  • Communication in English.
  • Well knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, word , PPT)
