As a Specialist Consultant Head and Neck Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating various conditions and diseases affecting the head and neck region. Your expertise in performing complex surgical procedures and managing patient care will contribute to improved outcomes and the overall well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' medical history, symptoms, and perform comprehensive physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as CT scans, MRI scans, and biopsies
- Diagnose and treat diseases and conditions affecting the head and neck region, including tumors, infections, and trauma
- Perform surgical procedures, such as tumor resections, reconstructive surgeries, and lymph node dissections
- Utilize advanced surgical techniques, technologies, and instruments to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Provide post-operative care and monitor patients' progress
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Stay updated on the latest research, advancements, and best practices in the field of head and neck surgery

- Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Specialist Consultant Head and Neck Surgeon
- Completion of a recognized residency program in Head and Neck Surgery
- Subspecialty fellowship or additional training in Head and Neck Surgery
- Proven experience in performing complex surgical procedures on the head and neck region
- Expertise in utilizing advanced surgical techniques, technologies, and instruments specific to head and neck surgery
- In-depth knowledge of diseases and conditions affecting the head and neck region
