JOB TITLE: BUSINESS ANALYST

DIVISION/ FUNCTION: OPERATIONS

REPORTING STRUCTURE:

Reports to: Operations Manager

Direct Supervision of: NA

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Gather and analyze business requirements, workflows, and processes, work closely with stakeholders across

all departments to understand their needs and priorities, and document these requirements in a clear and

concise manner.

Define solutions. Based on business requirements gathered, work closely with the IT team to develop

solutions that meet the organizations needs.

Design new processes, systems, or applications to enhance operations.

Collaborate with teams, understand the business implications of technical decisions, and communicate at all

levels of the organization to explain in simple terms to implement changes.

Train employees to use new systems or follow new policies or workflows.

Manage projects. Responsible for managing small and medium-sized projects from start to finish. This

involves creating project plans, managing resources, and ensuring that the project is delivered on time and

within budget.

Continuous improvement. Look for ways to improve processes, workflows, systems etc., and be proactive in

identifying areas for improvement. Assist in developing new strategies or initiatives that can help the

organization achieve its goals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Relevant Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.

Technical Knowledge/ Skills/ Required Training:

Organization and time management skills.

Experience using diagramming techniques to visualize data flows, current and future state process diagrams.

Detail focused, resourceful, decisive, problem-solver, flexible, and adaptable.

Working effectively in multi-disciplinary and cross-organizational teams.

Fast learner, able to quickly learn and understand new technical and business concepts.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Experience using statistical and database software.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of relevant tools such as Zoho, MenaITech, and Odoo is a plus.

Computer Skills:

Excellent computer skills, using Microsoft Office applications.

Language Ability:

Excellent command of English language & Arabic
