How You Will Contribute


  • Develop and implement financial planning and analysis processes.
  • Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reports, including key performance indicators and financial insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop financial strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Oversee the accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial systems.
  • Lead the budgeting process, working closely with department heads and senior management.
  • Monitor and analyse budget performance, identifying areas of concern and providing recommendations for cost control and efficiency.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage audits, liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial assets and mitigate risks.
  • Lead and manage the finance and accounting team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, professionalism, and continuous improvement within the finance and accounting department.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Identify training and development needs for the finance and accounting team and support their professional growth.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the organisation’s strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Assess financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions, conducting financial due diligence.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in financial regulations.


Required Skills, Education & Experience


  • 12 to 15 years of proven experience as a financial leader in a senior management position, such as Finance Director, Controller, or a similar role, working in an organisation structured as a group. Experience in a process-driven multinational is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting.
  • CPA or CMA certification is required.
  • Financial planning and analysis expertise.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency is financial reporting and compliance.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in risk management and internal controls.
  • Understanding of taxation and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong leadership and management abilities.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ethical standards and integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
