JOB OBJECTIVE:

Perform duties and responsibilities as Plastic (HDPE) Fabricator as assigned by the Lead Plastic Fabricator.

DESCRIPTION:

Execute tasks according to the daily production schedule provided by the Lead or Supervisor.
Develop layouts and plan sequences of operations, utilizing knowledge of trigonometry, stock allowances for thickness, machine and welding shrinkage, and the physical properties of materials.
Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including Jigsaw, micro extruder and reciprocating saw.
Position, align, fit, and weld parts together with precision.
Verify that workpieces conform to specifications using measuring tools such as squares, rulers, and measuring tapes.
Proficient in butt fusion and electro fusion welding techniques. Experience in onsite HDPE Welding.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Adhere to company HSE policies and procedures, promptly reporting any unsafe practices to the immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

High school (minimum) and preferably with specific skills relevant for production activities.
Preferably Certified HDPE welding Butt-fusion
Proven work experience as a Plastic (HDPE) Fabricator in same or similar industry
Ability to read drawings.
Understanding of safety and Equipment procedures.
Good Communication Skills.
Ability to work at site.
