Network Security Engineer

This position is responsible for performing all functions required to design, implement and support data security solutions at Ejada customers, accountable for the service delivery of security and networking infrastructure component availability and integrity, monitoring compliance with IT security policy, and coordinating investigation and reporting of security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for implementing and developing Cybersecurity Solutions “IT, IoT and OT” and associated tools to ensure the group has fit for purpose, effective and efficient technology to manage Projects hardware and software assets.
• Lead and manage projects which actively supports the business objectives and ensuring these are delivered within timescales, to budget, any risks/issues are recognized and alleviated, and work is allocated appropriately to teams and individuals
• Ensure customer satisfaction with the performance of installed systems by successful handling and reporting of all technical problems.
• Experience working in critical network operational environment with a keen interest in security operations and incident handling.
• Analyzing and implementing new security solutions and technologies
• Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
• Upgrades security systems by monitoring security environment; identifying security gaps; evaluating and implementing enhancements.
• Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement
• Perform other related duties for cybersecurity.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
• CCNA security cisco certified security professional or equivalent.
• 2-3 or more years’ experience
• Hands-on, technical experience with security solutions and technical knowledge of mainstream operating systems and wide range of security technologies such as Firewalls, NAC, IPS, VPN, 2FA, WAF, PAM and IAM.
• Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting skills on On-prem and the Public Cloud providers “AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP ..” based security solutions.
• Have Experience with VMware, Networking, Servers, Storage and Network Security, Information Security practices, networks, software, and hardware.
• Good working knowledge of TCP/IP, common network traffic, network protocols, LAN, WAN, Wireless technologies Security best practices, IT Security framework, IT security incident response and IT Security assessment.
• Working knowledge load balancers, Web Application delivery (F5, A10), Global Load balancer and URL filtering & web proxies (BlueCoat, Fortigate, Cisco, Forcepoint), Email Gateways.
• Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, common protocols and standards.
• Has prior experience in managing and coordinating multiple vendors.
