Synopsis

An exciting opportunity to join our state-of-the-art lounge at Zayed Airport, Abu Dhabi. As a Lounge Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the EY Lounge., Responsible for the delivery of exceptional guest experience and satisfaction. Oversee all third-party service providers involved with product and service delivery in the Lounge developing new relationships where appropriate. Ensuring service providers are delivering and maintaining service levels as per company agreement. Ensure high service levels are maintained with the effectiveness of premium passenger handling procedures and service levels. Implementing and completing necessary strategies and procedures to adhere to company policies and enhance revenue when applicable.

Accountabilities

  • Guest experience: To ensures a consistent delivery of exceptional customer experience, Ensuring not only EY Deliverance (Special services and Lounge staff) but also third-party suppliers i.e. Limousine provider, F&B Providers and Spa.
  • Financial control: Manage the financial and budgetary control of the Lounge including staff.
  • Stock F&B, and other products and services.
  • Inventory control: ensuring that all required equipment and stock are ordered on time and available for the operation.
  • Lounge and Third-Party Management: Management of EY staff within the Lounge and Special Services department including third party management of F&B providers and Spa staff
  • Performance managing and developing coaching: Ensuring all staff within the Premium services team are developed to ensure optimum delivery in service provided to our Premium guests.
  • Commit and meet deadlines.
  • Position is Airport/Lounge based.
  • Assist with related training, facilitation and provision of tools/resources required ensuring all staff are fully functional in their duties.
  • Working with set budgets and guidelines of the company.
  • Work cohesively with multinational team members.

Education & Experience

  • Successful completion of primary and secondary education in an accredited educational institute.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a 5-star international hotel or hospitality with supervisory or management experience.
  • Experience operating in a premium customer service/business and first-class environment.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience working in a leadership role including coaching, mentoring and performance managing a team directly
  • Experience in delivering innovation in product and service delivery.
  • Excellent Arabic and English communication skills (English and any additional languages would be an advantage)
  • High computer literacy, planning and project management skills.
  • Ability to provide Lounge training for all levels of staff working within EY or external teams such as third-party suppliers.
