As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the software development lifecycle by ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. You will be responsible for designing and implementing testing strategies, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring that all software releases meet the required standards of quality and reliability.

Job Description

What you'll be doing:

• Creation of test designs, test processes, test cases and test data;
• Carry out testing as per the defined procedures;
• Participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures;
• Prepare all reports related to software testing carried out;
• Ensure that all tested related work is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures;
• Development of test plans and test cases for ecommerce applications;
• Mentoring and providing support for Junior/Middle QAs;
• Implementation and execution of automation or manual test cases for business requirements, end-user requirements.
  
  
  

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

• 5+ years of commercial experience in QA;
• Strong knowledge of Bug tracking systems;
• Testing of web-based applications, cross browser testing;
• Knowledge of software test design and test execution methodologies;
• Strong knowledge of web technologies: Web Services (HTTP/HTTPS), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML;
• Base knowledge in security testing and automation tools for scanning security vulnerabilities
• Working knowledge of version control systems (CVS/SVN/GIT/TFS);
• Working knowledge of tools like Google Chrome Devtools, Firebug, AzureDevOps;
• Working knowledge of SQL;
• Strong leadership skills — to be able to drive and develop the QA domain;
• Good time management skills and ability to estimate testing activities;
• ISTQB Foundation / Advanced Level certificates.
