Operations Officer (Etihad Secure Logistics)

Synopsis

Lead operations and security team and perform, coordinate, and execute the day-to-day job. Follow policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ESL requirements and ensure exceptional experiences, streamline operations, and foster long-term relationships, ultimately driving business growth and success

Accountabilities

• Overseeing all aspects of operations within the ESL, including order processing, shipment tracking, and delivery coordination.
• Ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods by coordinating with freight carriers, logistics partners, and transportation providers to meet customer requirements and delivery deadlines.
• Addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints related to shipping, delivery delays, damaged goods, or incorrect shipments, and facilitating resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Tracking the status of shipments in transit, monitoring delivery progress, and proactively identifying and addressing any potential issues or delays to minimize disruptions and maintain on-time delivery.
• Enforcing company policies and procedures related to operations, freight handling, and order fulfillment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost savings in operations, and implementing strategies to streamline workflows and enhance service quality.
• Collaborating with other departments such as sales, finance, and warehousing to coordinate customer orders, resolve issues, and optimize logistics processes for maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee all ESL shipment and handling operations, ensuring adherence to all checklists, company policy/procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Effectively liaise with ESL Control room, to manage operational disruption recovery and reduce impact to ESL operation and operational integrity.
  
  

Education & Experience

• Higher secondary
• Minimum of 3 years of Experience of Customs Clearance.
• AUH & DXB Customs System, Airline System (Sprint icargo, Calogi)
