To maintain competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently looking for a Sales Executive - Restaurant POS Solutions.

Purpose: Responsible for creating, developing and closing sales opportunities for Point of Sale / POS software, hardware and related services.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Find and prospect new business, through in person, telephone and email communication and make contact decision makers in order to present our Point of Sale / POS software and related services and solutions.
  • Arrange demonstration of our Point of Sale / POS software, prepare quotations, overcome objections and follow up to close the deal.
  • Manage your existing pipeline of leads and opportunities and bring them to the point of making the decision to purchase, while prospecting for new potential customers.
  • Contact customers by face-to-face, phone, email, SMS, web chat and other contact points to initiate and maintain their interest from new lead to close, logging the activity in our CRM.
  • Form an understanding of the customers needs and pain points and use your deep ECR product knowledge to meet the customer’s requirement. Use this understanding to add new business opportunities for Geidea.
  • Improve our knowledge base and business intelligence on the restaurant and retail sector in the region and regularly complete product and sales training.
  • Collaborate with Pre Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams to find new opportunities and enhance existing ones.
  • Meeting and exceeding KPIs to hit weekly and monthly targets.


Required Work Experience -

  • 2+ years of SAAS, software or solutions based selling experience.
  • Have previously generated a robust pipeline of leads.
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding targets.


Desirable Experience -

  • Degree in Business, IT, Software or similar
  • Experience and knowledge of the POS sector


Required Skills/Competency-

  • Strong customer facing sales skills across the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing.
  • Solutions based selling skills, ideally in Point of Sale / POS or SAAS.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English [Note: English may be ok for UAE market].
  • CRM and pipeline management skills.
  • Can work in a fast paced environment.
  • Data driven and comfortable working to KPIs.
  • Self motivated with a drive to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Passion for new technology and software.

  • Drivers licence and own vehicle
