What Will You Do

To work with Mubadala corporate and business functions and Talent Partners in developing and implementing the talent mobility approach. As a Mobility Partner, you will manage the end-to-end assignee lifecycle for domestic and international secondments and permanent transfers. This involves facilitating all related formalities to enable a smooth transition for employees in line with their defined competency development needs, and the business needs.

Talent Mobility Approach

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent mobility approach, policies, tools and workflows in line with the business needs and the overall talent management strategy.

Talent Mobility Formalities

  • Develop international relocation packages for employees on international secondments within the Mubadala Group or externally. Collaborate with other Human Capital function to ensure international relocation packages are clear, fair and consistent.
  • Handle all mobility coordination and administration formalities by communicating with the employees and line managers to ensure clarity on all related aspects.
  • Develop all required documentation and contracts, as applicable, to handle employee transition, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations such as legal, immigration, taxation and social security requirements.

Talent Assignments Monitoring

  • Liaise with secondees, Talent Partners and relevant line manager to follow-up on progress of the secondment.

Continuous Improvement

  • Research and keep abreast of leading trends and practices related to talent mobility in order to provide insights that enable the continuous improvement of Mubadala’s talent mobility approach.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as required, to enable smooth and effective transition of employees to the secondment location and protect employees’ interests at all times.

Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures

  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of functional systems, policies, processes and practices taking into account ‘international leading practice’ in order to improve business processes, productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Provide critical input to support the development of functional systems, policies, processes, and procedures in order to meet business requirements.

Reporting

  • Prepare functional reports in a timely and accurate manner in order to meet Mubadala’s requirements, and the functional requirements, policies and standards.

What Will You Bring

To succeed within this role, you will be bring a strong mix of practical experience, technical skills and business skills, including the following:

  • Degree preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in global talent mobility management, onboarding, facilitating long term / short term assignments across different locations.
  • Experience working for large-scale organisation with complex business operations or experience working across various industries.
  • Strong knowledge of talent mobility approaches, leading practices and documentation requirements locally and globally.
  • In depth knowledge of international tax law, immigration regulations and labour policies.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Experience in providing strategic advisory services in supporting organisations on global mobility trends and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You will have the following business skills: strategic thinker, analytical thinking, problem solving, resilient, emotional intelligence, cultural awareness, results focused.
  • You will be a team player with high standards of business ethics and a drive to deliver, innovate and improve, whilst building strong partnerships within and outside Mubadala.

  • You will be an excellent communicator able to build relationships, communicate and influence at all levels.
  • You must be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
  • You should be culturally sensitive and able to navigate on diverse work environments.
