The sales communications & content officer role is focused on supporting the Sales & Distribution organisation through corporate copywriting, the delivery of both internal and external communications and content, managing the communication channels and supporting the distribution of information.
Accountabilities
· Produce engaging, straightforward content, for internal and external distribution, that can be adapted to all platforms used across Sales & Distribution.
· Interpreting creative direction and technical information and turning them into persuasive copy concepts, while understanding the company voice and target audiences.
· Write, edit and own the weekly internal communications for Sales & Distribution (SalesTalk) and Adhoc communication requests, provide additional support and content for the monthly Newsletters and quarterly Townhalls.
· Design and deliver external communications for trade and corporate sales clients, including monthly trade updates (with targets per market) and quarterly trade and corporate news updates.
· Coordinate, monitor and maintain the Etihad hub content to ensure it is accurate, up to date, as this is the repository of information for trade.
· Action the requests received in the Sales Communications and Etihad Hub mailboxes and deliver communications as per the agreed SLAs including all approval levels and translations, where necessary.
· Maintain and build on the department SharePoint site to enhance the page through refreshed content.
· Maintain the internal & external communications calendar.
· Build and maintain relationships with marketing, brand, and customer relationship management (CRM) teams to improve efficiencies and ensure that templates are up to date and that brand standards and company language are constantly adhered to.
· Establish and maintain effective relationships with the Corporate and Visual Communications teams.
· Support the team with editing and modifying additional copy (Newsletters, myLearning modules, user guides, policies & procedures etc.)
· Support in driving the communications strategy for our global sales team.
· Support the other pillars of the employee engagement framework (training & development, reward and recognition and team building).
Education & Experience
· Minimum Diploma (2 years or more) and 3 years of work experience within relevant field or
· Minimum of 5 years of work experience within relevant field
· Communication/copywriting experience is required
· Strong verbal and written communication in English is required
· Strong project management, analytical skills, and senior stakeholder management experience
· Experience using Adobe, SharePoint and/or Staffbase is desirable
