Specialist Anesthesia

· To provide immediate support to the anaesthetic specialist as soon as they are required.
· Provide an expert opinion and manage patients who attend KCH London UAE for surgical procedures.
· To provide critical care management of patients according to established standards of best practice.
· To provide a secure and safe anesthetic or critical care.
· Comply with the established KCH London UAE practices.
· Comply with the requirements of the regulatory UAE medical health authorities with respect to all professional practices.
· To advice and perform the necessary procedures together with obtaining approval from the relevant healthcare insurance company prior to performing such procedures.
· Accurately document all relevant patient information in a clear and timely fashion in accordance with KCH London UAE health record keeping policy.
· Communicate medical information to patients and the patient’s families.
· Liaise with other medical and surgical specialities and professional support services for additional input as required.
· Accept appropriate referrals from other speciality Medical Centers.
· Work effectively and efficiently within the team structure of the KCH London UAE treatment centre by maintaining a good working relationship with other members of staff, promoting collaboration and adopting a team-based approach to patient care.
· Implement, support and follow all clinic initiatives, policies and procedures.
· Practice only within the privileges granted by KCH London UAE and UAE medical health authorities.
