Job Mission
The Near Patient Care (NPC) Diabetes Medical Value Africa will drive medical value and medical marketing strategy that supports commercialisation of near patient care portfolio.
The Near Patient Care (NPC) Diabetes Medical Value Africa will also lead end to end KOL management and real world evidence generation to support NPC portfolio.
He/ She will establish and implement medical objectives that align with Market Access priorities for impact and reach in assigned networks.
This position reports to the Near Patient Care Access Manager.
Your Impact
- Identify the unmet needs for PwD and healthcare professionals within a given geography to work with global medical support functions in order to co-create the medical strategy and medical solutions
- Execute the network medical affairs activities
- Identify, create and manage real world evidence generation in support of strategic priorities for medical value in the network
- Drive product portfolio strategies in line with the relevant medical strategy by actively engaging with key decision makers, sharing strategies and insights and influencing as and when required
- Maintain role as thought leader and key contact on the medical strategy, by maintaining KOL relationships, presenting feedback, gathering insights and learnings and sharing these as required
- Support Network public affairs teams and commercial organization/ market access with medical requirements for policy shaping and lobbying
- Drive the delivery of Roche’s value proposition for opportunities in the private and public sector, leveraging external partnerships, business models and other resources to guarantee a unique and differentiated customer voice and maximize our business development opportunities
- Leadership: The African healthcare ecosystem calls for a new approach to leadership, with focus on co-creating meaningful value with and for all stakeholders. The leadership will focus on serving as a Visionary, Architect, Coach and Catalyst
Who You Are
- You hold a relevant degree in Marketing, Business Management, Medical Sciences or similar
- You have at least 7 to 10 years of field experience out of them at least 5 years of management experience
- You possess a strong business orientation with deep knowledge of products, industry, markets, customers, and SOPs
- You exhibit a thorough understanding of healthcare laws and regulations in-scope African countries related to your function; specific technical, medical, and therapeutic expertise in strategic products
- You show excellent customer orientation and relationship-building skills; strategic marketing and networking capabilities; proficient presentation and facilitation skills
- You also have a robust financial and business acumen, including cost center budgeting and management
- You demonstrate high-level networking, influencing, lobbying, and negotiation skills; and proven line management and leadership experience
- You have Arabic, French and/or English language skills, enabling you to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
