Could you be the full-time Electrical Operation Engineer in Egypt we’re looking for?

You’ll specifically take care of delivering Turnkey project, making sure it aligns with contractual requirements and customer expectations.
You’ll Play an important role in operations and maintenance by ensuring that all electrical systems and equipment in a facility are operating safely, efficiently, and effectively.
We’ll look to you to:
- Ensure full verification for the isolation work permit application immediate reporting in case of not compliancy by isolation work permit Person In Charge,
- Support to Line Electrical Controller to handle any Incident, Accident, near miss and recovery measures on zone controlled by Temporary Operation Organization,
- Take charge of overall Radio Communications to Line Electrical Controller, other Electrical Operation Nominated Person and OCC (when in operation).
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Line Electrical Controller related to the function.

- Aware of the electrical risks and able to ensure the safety of not electrical minded persons working in an electrical environment.
- Experience in performing manual and remote switching in electrical substations.
- Knowledge on electrical substations operation.
- Fluent in the English and Arabic languages.
- Electrical Power Supply Field certification as legally required to be employed as an Electrical Controller in a medium power substation.
- Experience in Railway Electrical Traction Operation (Third rail system).
Responsibilities
- Train his team on hazards that could occur on the line (car collision, pedestrian collision, electrical shock) and how to avoid them,
- Implement Temporary Operation documentation and rules to ensure a good control of site activities,
- Ensure safe activities coordination according to Work Permit process,
- Handle any Incident, Accident, near miss and recovery measures on zone controlled by Temporary Operation Organization,
- Take charge of overall Radio Communications and OCC Traffic Controller Records/Reports and Memos
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Temporary Operation Manager related to the function,
- Maintain and develop his own level of expertise.
Educational Requirements
- Bacholre in Electrical Power Supply Engineering Field as legally required to be employed as an Electrical Controller in a Control Centre.
Desired Knowledge / Experience
- Minimum 5 year of working in electrical environment with leading role.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in performing manual and remote switching in electrical substations.
- Knowledge on electrical substations operation.
- Experience in Railway Electrical Traction Operation (as preference title).
- Fluent in the English and Arabic languages.
- Driving license.
- Experience in similar role in railway project is a preference title(as preference title).
