Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor

Location: Ajman

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all areas function efficiently and provide excellent customer service. They will support the team, handle guest issues, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and help manage staff performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise Operations:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth service in all areas.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching or feedback when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.


2. Staff Management:

  • Assist in scheduling, training, and mentoring restaurant staff.
  • Support recruitment efforts, including interviewing and onboarding.
  • Motivate the team to provide exceptional service and maintain a positive work environment.


3. Guest Relations:

  • Greet and interact with guests to ensure satisfaction.
  • Resolve any issues or complaints to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.


4. Inventory and Supplies:

  • Assist in managing inventory levels, placing orders, and checking deliveries.
  • Ensure that all necessary supplies are stocked and available for operations.


5. Financial Responsibility:

  • Support in managing daily financial processes, including handling cash, balancing tills, and preparing daily reports.
  • Assist in budgeting and cost control by minimizing waste and managing expenses effectively.


6. Operational Improvement:

  • Identify areas for improvement and suggest ways to enhance service, menu offerings, and overall guest experience.
  • Implement operational procedures to optimize efficiency.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a restaurant supervisor or similar role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health standards.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems is a plus.
