Service Local Sales & Marketing Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible to define, plan and ensure implementation of product marketing strategies in assigned area to meet business objectives and in line with global product strategy. Over-see all marketing activities, and support sales organizations in driving sales and services of respective products
The work model for this role (onsite)
This role is contributing to Electrification Business Area for Service Division based in Cairo Egypt.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Creating, planning and ensuring implementation of the local go-to–market service product marketing strategy in the assigned area/segment, including defining and communicating product value propositions and product/service portfolio positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.
- Establishing product service portfolio marketing targets and measurement tools to effectively monitor performance in the country.
- Coordinating market analyses with sales team members and defining appropriate market price and expanding the service mix portfolio.
- Preparing business plans focused on business development for Egypt and North Africa market.
- Driving sales efficiency by ensuring appropriate product knowledge (technical and sales) for each salesperson by delivering the required training.
- Launching marketing activities (campaigns, exhibitions, seminars, customer meetings, events).
- Evaluating the market potential and ABB installed base data utilizing ServIS and identifying sales opportunities.
- Penetrating ABB Installed base and promoting the various ABB service portfolio at Low & Medi-um voltage scope for care, modernization and advisory.
- Regular follow up with the product commercialization marketing manager.
- Evaluating and sharing customer research, market conditions and competitor data
Qualifications For The Role
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- 5 to 8 years of experience of low and medium voltage products and solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel to customer meetings, corporate trainings, and tradeshows
- Fluent spoken & written English, Arabic
- French language will be an added advantage.
