Do you have Primary teaching experience in the UAE and a vision for supporting teaching and learning across the country? We’re looking for an ambitious and proactive person to join the entrepreneurial teams which comprise Twinkl’s core customer segments. You will be responsible for supporting the ongoing development and growth of our UAE community.

You'll be joining the UAE-based Twinkl team with additional support from leaders at Twinkl HQ in the U.K. You’ll need to take a rapid iterative approach, employing different marketing and business development techniques to get the message out to the Education community.

The Production Team Leader for Twinkl UAE plays a crucial role in overseeing the creation and delivery of high-quality educational resources tailored to meet Twinkl’s standards and the specific needs of the various curriculums offered within the UAE. This position is essential for ensuring that our resources are both relevant and impactful in supporting educators and students in the UAE.

In this role, you will lead, support and coordinate a friendly, dynamic production team of content writers, editors, graphic designers, and illustrators. Many team members are educators still actively working in UAE schools, bringing valuable insights and experience to our projects.

Your key responsibilities will include managing multiple projects and the production team to ensure timely and efficient completion, maintaining high standards of quality, and ensuring that resources meet both Twinkl’s and the UAE curriculum’s requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the UAE Country Manager to align production goals with broader strategic objectives. This role is vital in driving our mission to provide high quality educational materials and supporting our team’s professional growth through a collaborative and supportive environment.

Ongoing projects/how you’ll spend your week:

Project and Sprint Management: Plan sprints, set priorities, and manage projects using Jira and Tableau.

Oversee project organisation, sign-offs, and conduct reviews.

Team Leadership and Support: Manage performance with KPIs, support individual development, allocate resources

Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with the country manager and other stakeholders, host stand-ups, one to one meetings, and set weekly priorities. Support team members and facilitate training and onboarding.

Additional Activities: Foster a problem-solving culture, motivate team members, and ensure alignment with business goals. Maintain flexibility, encourage engagement, and create a safe, inclusive environment.

Training and Wellbeing: Onboard and train new starters, promote ongoing training, support wellbeing, and celebrate successes.

To succeed in the role, you will:

• Have a thorough knowledge of the UAE Education market, and of our customers.
• Experience within an International School UAE education setting
• Sound decision-making skills and diligence in seizing new opportunities.
• Understand what good prioritisation is, and values output and results.
• Ability to communicate a shared vision and motivate individuals and a team.
• Methodical, highly organised, accurate and execution focused
• Up-to-date tech skills e.g. Excel, Google suite
• Fluency or working knowledge of spoken and written English

• Develop coaching and performance management skills.
• Gain experience in project management and leadership at Twinkl.
• How to use our online systems such as Jira/Tableau.
  
  

You’ll work with:

• A friendly, welcoming and supportive team of production staff.
• Country manager & occasional Phase manager
• Partnership team on any projects
• Other stakeholders if and where required e.g product owners etc.
  
  

We're interested in anyone who meets one, or a combination of the following:

• Bachelors or PGCE in Education (Primary)
• At least 2 years experience teaching in the UAE
• At least 4+ years of teaching experience
• At least 1 year leadership experience
