Our Oilfield Services Team is Manufacturing the latest products of oilfield equipment which is beating heart of our work. We collaborate with our development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, geoscience, to develop innovative drilling tools.

Baker Hughes is looking to hire Manufacturing Engineer. As a Manufacturing Engineer for Dubai Manufacturing, you will be responsible for:

  • Deploying new technologies and systems. Including Artificial Intelligence, software, hardware, and network solutions.
  • Developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, productivity and reduce product cost.
  • Resolving, and identifying Drilling tools Shop failures.
  • Order workshop tooling and workshop requirements. Ensure that the equipment is properly calibrated and maintained asper standard.
  • Analysing production Costs and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Supporting projects related to process improvements & new product introduction.

To be successful in this role,

  • Have advanced interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology or computer science or information technology.
  • Have 3-5 years experience as a technology specialist and/or Manufacturing Specialist - AMO Engineer.
  • Have advanced skills and experience in creating Data bases using SQL server, Oracle database, etc.
  • Have 3-5 years experience in programming & scripting languages (e.g., Python, Power Shell, visual basic, C#, C++, Java, etc.) for automation and customization.
  • Be proficient in AutoCAD and Solidworks.
  • Have strong understanding of SC/Manufacturing/AMO processes.
  • Have technical Knowledge to trouble shoot Drilling Services tools BCPM/OTK/AZI/LTK
  • Hold Green Belt certification and/or lean level 3 certified.
  • Hold a PMP certification to lead NPI and projects.
