This position reports to

Maintenance Manager

Your Role And Responsibilities

Developing and implementing maintenance programs for equipment, analyzing task requirements and developing a bill of materials and project cost estimates, reading and interpreting system schematics for electric and hydraulic circuits Layout intuitive and complete HMI screens, developing and modifying PLC ladder logic programs and SCADA Implementing improvements in existing automation in machine assembly, machining and inspection, programming new automation components Building, testing, installing and commission designed systems and designing, manufacturing and installing electrical, electronic and mechanical components for use in a wide range of steel manufacturing Selecting necessary digital and analog sensors and devices to accomplish desired results, using diagnostic and test equipment such as multi-meters and oscilloscopes, coordinating projects and supporting construction and maintenance crews as needed Identifying and troubleshooting quality issues, writing reports and maintaining accurate records, providing short training sessions to team members, ensuring compliance with safety and equipment procedures

Qualifications For The Role

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven work experience as a Maintenance Engineer more than 3 years
  • Ability to read and interpret system schematics for electric and hydraulic circuits, ability to work with heavy equipment, experience with drives, servo, DC motor, pneumatic and hydraulic controls, proven work experience in programming PLC, SCADA and other automation systems
  • Ability to design, manufacture and install electrical, electronic and mechanical components for use in a wide range of steel manufacturing
  • Fluency in English language is mandatory
