Roles & Responsibilities


  • Strategic Planning: develop and implement strategic initiatives to automate and optimize e-commerce operations and support business growth objectives.
  • Continuously assess and enhance operational processes to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Supply Chain Management: oversee inventory management, adequate stock levels timely delivery of products to meet customer demands.
  • Logistics and Fulfillment: manage logistics, warehousing, and order fulfillment operations to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
  • Optimize delivery process to minimize costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Experience: Lead efforts to enhance the online shopping experience, including order fulfillment, shipping, returns, and customer service.
  • Quality Control: establish and maintain quality control processes to ensure the highest product and service quality standards.
  • Technology and Systems: Identify and implement technology solutions and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to leverage technology solutions and e-commerce platforms to improve operational capabilities and drive automation and innovation.
  • Cost Management: develop and manage the operations budget, optimizing resource allocation to achieve cost savings. Monitor and control operational expenses.
  • Risk Management: identify and mitigate operational risks and challenges by implementing contingency plans for business continuity.
  • Performance Analysis: monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in e-commerce operations.
  • Provide data driven insightful report to senior management.


Desired Candidate Profile


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • 15+ years of progressive operations management experience in e-commerce/Retail/FMCG or a related industry with 5-6 years in leadership role.
  • Lean Six Sigma (black belt) will be a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and fulfillment processes.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and operational software tools
  • Quality control and process improvement expertise
  • Project management or LEAN Sis Sigma will be advantageous.
  • Technology and systems integration experience.
