Key Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our business goals and target audience.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify content opportunities and trends.
  • Create and maintain editorial calendars and content guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Content Creation:
  • Oversee the creation of various content formats, including blog posts, articles, social media content, email newsletters, and website copy.
  • Collaborate with writers, designers, and other team members to produce high-quality content that is informative, engaging, and visually appealing.
  • Ensure that all content is optimized for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and drive organic traffic.
  • Content Management:
  • Manage and maintain our content library, ensuring it is organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
  • Implement content governance processes to ensure compliance with brand guidelines and quality standards.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
  • Social Media:
  • Develop and execute social media strategies to engage our target audience and increase brand awareness.
  • Create and curate engaging social media content, including posts, images, and videos.
  • Monitor social media trends and conversations to identify opportunities for engagement and content promotion.
  • Community Management:
  • Foster a positive and engaged online community through our social media channels and forums.
  • Respond to comments, questions, and messages from our audience in a timely and helpful manner.
  • Encourage user-generated content and participation in our community.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
  • Track and analyze key content metrics, including website traffic, engagement rates, and conversion rates.
  • Use data to identify trends, optimize content performance, and measure the impact of content initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports on content performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Manage a team of content writers, editors, and social media specialists.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in content management, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and content marketing principles.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging and informative content.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools.
  • Strong social media skills, including understanding of different platforms and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is a plus.
