HOTEL INFORMATION
Gran Meliá Jumeirah - New Opening Resort Hotel in Dubai - Opening 2026.
This new luxury resort, built overlooking the sea, will be located in Jumeirah and will feature the following main areas:
- The Gran Meliá Hotel, a resort offering luxury and leisure with views towards the sea and beach, the marina and Dubai’s skyline.
- The hotel's exclusive Beach Club, Restaurant, and Rooftop Bar.
- The Convention Centre.
- The Commercial Area overlooking the marina.
- Expected incorporation: late 2024
POSITION PROFILE
Providing direct support to the Managing Director Central Europe, Middle East & Africa, you will be responsible for the operations, coordination, management, supervision and analysis of results from all Hotel Departments:
- Direct and inspire the high performance of hotel teams continuously evaluating and maintaining high service, quality and productive processes and workflow.
- Ensure the smooth implementation of the procedures and policies of Meliá Hotels International in alignment with the strategic plans.
Requirements
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in General Manager positions in Gran Meliá Resorts.
- Experience in Leisure - High End Resorts is mandatory.
- Experience in Luxury Hospitality Middle East.
- Experience in management contracts (reporting to owners/properties).
- Profile with the ability to work with autonomy.
- Operational focus, problem solving skills to manage with the challenges of the area, calm and social/team working to be close to the team and properties.
- Functional knowledge of all department operations.
- English is mandatory, Arab & Spanish desirable.
- Proven ability in Human Resources Management & Talent Development.
- Knowledge of IT tools used in hotel management (PMS).
- Able to reside in Jumeirah, Dubai.
